EAT.
(without self-judgement, angst or feeling out-of-control.)
You already have everything you need to ‘eat normally’. The only thing missing is trusting that your body has your back.
100% Diet-free online support for binge eating, overeating and emotional eating.
If you’ve been judging your eating (and yourself), you’re here because it’s time to stop.
The truth is:
You can be trusted to make food choices.
You are the expert of your body.
You can find peace, ease and freedom with food.
When you believe all this, you can reclaim your time, energy and headspace.
And stop obsessing about what to eat.
You won’t need to white-knuckle your way through another day hoping you don’t ‘blow it’ once you’ve implemented In Charge Eating.
Designed to walk you through the exact framework for getting relief from out-of-control eating I teach my 1:1 clients, In Charge Eating will:
Help you understand what your drivers of out-of-control eating are;
Show you exactly how to implement the tools that will give you respite and relief from feeling out-of-control with food;
Support you to feel comfortable letting go of food guilt and your fears about your weight changing;
Lay down the solid foundations so that turning the theory of Intuitive Eating into practice feels like a breeze;
Save you money, time and stress figuring out how to stop obsessing about food and your weight; and
Do it all with confidence, knowing you’ve got a Dietitian in your corner for six months who has worked with hundreds of women to help them find food freedom…
Because food and eating wasn’t meant to feel this hard.

Out-of-control to in charge and ready to tackle Intuitive Eating;
here’s exactly what you’ll be working on:
month 1
Creating solid foundations for healing
Every relationship with food needs a solid foundation. During our first month together we’ll be settling into the program and building the basis for that foundation…
- You’ll get clear on the difference between binge eating, overeating, emotional eating, and binge eating disorder and introduce the three drivers of out-of-control eating.
- You’ll be introduced to your first tool for your toolkit that will be your bedrock for the entire program (and beyond).
- And, rather than setting goals, you’ll spend some time getting clear with what matters to you most so that you can feel like you are embarking on the next phases of this program on solid footing.
- During this month, there will also be the opportunity to meet 1:1 to make sure you know your way around the place and are all set up to get the most out of the program.
month 2
Repairing trust with your body
‘Quick wins’ are in store when you embrace wholly nourishing yourself. Month 2 builds on your foundations to being repairing trust with your body…
- We’re going to get a little science-y (no lab coat and goggles needed!) exploring the role food plays in our biology.
- You will learn why we need to be eating protein, fat AND carbs and you will be adding and implementing two tools to your kit that are key to repairing trust with your body and addressing the biological drivers of out-of-control eating.
- We start with this repair work and embracing wholly nourishing yourself because it’s where most people notice some significant reductions in the frequency and intensity of their out of control eating or binge eating.
- To complement everything you’re learning and experimenting with this month, you’ll also receive access to the bonus module Planning for Meals and Snacks, Rather than Meal Planning to support you in the ‘what’ to eat, not just the ‘how’ to eat, rather than feel trapped in diet-y ‘meal planning’.
month 3
Healing ‘eating your feelings’
Calling anyone who has ever said they ‘eat their feelings’: Month 3 was made especially for you…
- We’re exploring the emotional drivers of out-of-control eating and will take a deeper look at emotional eating.
- You will add another four tools to your toolkit that are key to addressing the emotional drivers of out-of-control eating.
- This module will support you to feel more confident in giving yourself permission to feel your feelings and knowing how to respond to them rather than react to them.
- And there’s a whole lesson on how to work through feeling guilty about eating, so you can banish food guilt for good.
- This month you’ll also get access to the bonus module Dealing with the Discomfort of Body Changes.
month 4
Letting go of the ‘bad habit’ identity
Month 4 has everything you need for when binge eating, emotional eating and overeating feel like a habit you just can’t kick…
- You will round out your toolkit with a bunch of tools aimed specifically at supporting you to shake up those habits.
- You’ll also learn to move out of autopilot and be able to let go of those stories you have been telling yourself about not having enough ‘willpower’ or not being able to ‘get it together’.
- And if you have ever dabbled with mindfulness, I’m going to be inviting you to consider it in a whole new way ?.
month 5
Using yout nervous system as a resource
In Month 5 we’re going deep, all the way down to our nervous system to understand how it impacts our thoughts, feelings and behaviours AND how that plays out in our relationship with food and body…
- This month is all about connecting with and understanding our own inner ‘dashboard’.
- You’ll learn how your nervous system has been working to protect you and keep you safe, along with learning how to interpret the language it has been communicating to you.
- You’ll also be developing skills so that you can be responsive rather than reactive to the things in life that have you automatically jumping to food, or wanting to jump back to dieting.
- This is stuff that gets left out of a lot of Intuitive Eating resources but is a critical piece of the ‘food healing’ puzzle and I can’t wait to share it with you
month 6
Putting it all together and wrapping up
Getting ready to take on a world still entrenched in Diet Culture…
- In our last month together, we will have plenty of time to consolidate everything you have discovered about yourself and explore what it looks like to integrate all of the tools you have learnt into everyday life.
- Though this will be the final ‘content drop’, you will have ongoing access to the curriculum for a further six-months after this point, to revisit any tools that you perhaps didn’t get around to, or felt tricky to tackle at the time

Putting it all together and wrapping up
And because your eating doesn’t exist in a ‘perfect day’ bubble, you are also getting these extras:
Dealing with the discomfort of body changes
One of the biggest sticking points for my 1:1 clients and In Charge Eating self-study students is hesitation about what this repair work will mean for their weight and shape. So, we’ll be tackling how to deal with the discomfort of anticipated OR real body changes that come with healing your relationship with food so you can work through the program with confidence.
Planning for Meals and Snacks, Rather than Meal Planning
This bonus module will support you in the ‘what’ to eat, not just how to eat and I promise it is 100% meal-plan and prescriptive free! In it, I’ll also be sharing with you my 4-step process for planning meals and snacks and you’ll be getting access to my snacking guide with a difference, so you never run out of ideas and inspiration for your snacks.
calm EATING during times of chaos
We can often keep “on top” of our eating when things are going well, but notice that the wheels start falling off and out-of-control eating ramps up again when life stuff becomes stressful or overwhelming. This bonus lesson is all about how to keep eating calm during times of chaos.
Out-of-control eating during a pandemic
COVID has thrown up unprecedented (yep, I went there!) challenges for eating and our relationship to food. This bonus lesson looks specifically at out-of-control eating during COVID. We will be covering why it might be happening and the thing I know is on your mind: your concerns about weight gain.
You’ll be well supported the whole way through…
Bonus: 1:1 Onboarding call
During your first month, you’ll have the opportunity to meet 1:1 to make sure you know your way around the place and are all set up to get the most out of the program.
Bonus: 12 months access to a Dietitian 'on call'*
As you work your way through the program at your own pace, if you ever get stuck, have a question, want to know how to apply a tool or strategy to your individual circumstances, you can reach out and I’ll support you the best I can – whether that’s over email, a DM or a video note. *conditions apply – refer to the FAQ below.
BONUS: join pop-up events and impromptu group calls
Based on the questions and needs of all students working through the program, I may run group calls or additional events.
Hi! I’m Nina Mills.
Loves cats, coffee and cheesecake.
I experienced my most disordered period of eating while I was training to become a Dietitian.
It was one of the most stressful and intense times of my life – I had a lot riding on getting that piece of paper and my eating went right along with it.
It was chaotic, there was a lot of stress eating and I felt a tonne of guilt and feelings of failure about not having my eating together – after all, I was supposed to be ‘The Nutrition Expert’, right?!
But, I realised I’m a human first, who eats and has to navigate existing in diet culture along with everyone else.
My relationship with food and eating is in a very different place now because I too have incorporated the information and tools that are inside In Charge Eating. Getting there has just been a lot more scattered and cobbled together as I have learnt more and more about things like our biology, weight science, Intuitive Eating and the Non Diet Approach over the past eight years.
I also know not everyone has the time, finances, energy and interest in working with a Dietitian 1-to-1, so my aim for In Charge Eating is to provide a lower cost, more inclusive, easier access option because everyone deserves to have a more peaceful relationship with food and eating.
I really want for you to understand what is at the root of your eating concerns and arm you with the tools that support you to feel in charge and calm again. Not just for six weeks, 12 weeks; for good. No more band-aid fixes! Skip having to take eight years to cobble everything together like I did and take advantage of it all being here in the one spot inside In Charge Eating. I’d love for you to join me.
I know you are a smart, resourceful, deep feeling human who has got more important things to do with your life than feel stuck riding that out-of-control eating rollercoaster.
Whether you’re seeking food freedom purely for yourself or wanting to role model a positive relationship with food to the small humans in your life, you’re making a valuable investment.
Investing money into healing your relationship with food can feel like a first world, frivolous indulgence. Reclaiming trust in your body and confidence with your eating back from Diet Culture is a powerful act of defiance that is valuable for you and those around you. You become part of the cultural shift to make the world better when you invest in taking care of yourself.
But because I understand that it can feel big to embark on work like this, I wanted to offer you multiple payment options to help you feel good about whatever decision you make.
Have a different payment plan in mind that would work better?

“Thank you so much for making this a virtual course. You are insightful and understanding and speak with knowledge and confidence.”
Is In Charge Eating is right for you?
If you are:
- tired of fighting food and feeling guilty about your eating;
- done feeling out-of-control with your eating;
- exhausted with the amount of time and brain space worrying about food and eating is taking up in your life;
- feeling so confused that you are not even sure how to eat anymore;
- in your heart of hearts certain that another diet, meal plan or Instagram influencer is not the answer;
- determined to not waste another minute of your life, let alone another year, to the diet industry;
- ready and willing to put in the time, energy and emotional labour to dig in deep and really make some changes to your relationship with food;
In Charge Eating is going to be a great fit to support you to reclaim your relationship with food back from diet culture.
In Charge Eating might not be the best fit if you:
- have an active eating disorder that involves purging or compensatory behaviours;
- are only looking for a weight loss solution;
- don’t feel that you can prioritise time for yourself to do the work;
- don’t think you are ready to get uncomfortable and be challenged.
Nothing else has worked in the past, so not convinced this will be any different?
I’m willing to guess that what you have tried before has been a product of diet culture and will have been making the problem worse rather than better.
In Charge Eating comes at the ‘problem’ from a totally different angle and seeks to empower you to understand what is going on ‘under the hood’, rather than slapping some meal plans and cute affirmations on.
I’m extremely proud of this program and am confident that anyone who invests in it and implements the strategies, tools and practices will be in a better place with their food and eating as a result.
I’m also fiercely protective of the Non-Diet Approach (the paradigm and philosophy that underpins In Charge Eating) and so if you are thinking of joining In Charge Eating, I want you to be 100% sure that it is the right fit for you.
What I don’t want is for you to sign up, only to bail on yourself and feel like you have a bad experience with the Non-Diet Approach and think it is another ‘thing that didn’t work’.
In Charge Eating has been designed to equip you with the tools you need to rebuild connection with yourself and your relationship with food, AND for that to ‘work’, it needs one important ingredient: YOU! You will get out of the program what you put into it – transforming your relationship with food just can’t happen by only watching the video lessons.
Oh, and if you are wondering;
“Will In Charge Eating help me lose weight?”
To be totally honest, I have no idea. What I do know is that diets don’t work in the long term and the pursuit of weight loss will continue to distract you from really embracing the tools and information that will actually promote long-term health. Do we talk about weight inside? You bet. But weight loss is not an intended outcome or goal of this program, which is based on principles of Health at Every Size® and body acceptance. In Charge Eating is not going to be right for you if weight loss is the only thing you are looking for.
You weren’t meant to spend your life fighting food.
I don’t want you to give over another minute of your life, let alone another year, to the diet industry. It’s keeping you small and distracted from the stuff that matters.
You can probably think of 100 things you could be doing with the time and energy you currently spend trying to get your eating under control.
Let’s reclaim that.
Got a question? Let me answer some of the common ones I get asked
How does In Charge Eating work?
In Charge Eating is a 12-month self-study program designed to give you the exact steps you need to feel calmer and confident with food and your eating backed up with a tonne of support from a Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor.
You will receive access to new content every month over the six months which you can work through at your own pace. You’ll then have another six-months access (for a total of 12 months) to the curriculum and any current program bonuses.
During our time together, you’ll work through the ‘theory’ behind why out of control eating happens along with teaching you the tools to take your eating from feeling out of control, to calm and in charge.
When does In Charge Eating start and finish?
The program is ready and waiting for you as soon as you are! You will have 12-months access.
How long do I have access for?
You’ll receive new content for the first six months and then have another six months access to the program curriculum and any program bonuses.
The 12-month timeframe for this container was specifically designed to give you plenty of time to show up, take action and make the changes that you’re ready for.
What are the additional payment plans?
I would hate if the way I currently have the payments structured was the only thing standing in your way of working towards your goals.
So, in addition to the 6-month payment plan, you can also choose:
- 8 months: $78/month for 8 months
How does the 'Dietitian on call' work?
You’ll have the opportunity to share your reflections, answer, and ask questions in multiple places throughout the program. As your Dietitian guide, I’ll be able to follow along with these and lend a hand and support where deemed relevant.
There will also be a dedicated space where you can submit any questions, comments, or things you’re working on or stuck with. I will get back to you in 72 business hours via email, DM or a video note, with encouragement, other resources to check out, my thoughts on how to modify a tool or strategy to your personal circumstances, or ideas on how to get unstuck.
Conditions:
- Questions and requests for support should, where reasonable, be related to In Charge Eating
- I am a Dietitian, but not your 1:1 Dietitian, so I cannot provide any individual or personalised nutrition advice or crisis support
- In order to provide you with a thoughtful response, you can expect a turnaround time of 72 business hours
- Fair use of this bonus offer applies. I reserve the right to remove this bonus offer and/or refer you to a dietitian or other health care professional where requests for support are being overused or misused.
Is there a Facebook group?
No, I have decided not to run a Facebook group at this stage, however for 12 months, you will have the chance to send me your questions and things you’re working on for additional support along the way. There will also be the opportunity to join any pop-up events or group calls that I may decide to run.
Why are you qualified to teach this stuff?
I am a Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and the founder of Feel Good Eating, based in Melbourne Australia.
I am also a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health and am a Health At Every Size Australia specialist.
In my practice, I offer nutrition counselling for people with eating and body concerns to support them to reconnect with their bodies, make food choices from a place of self-care and ultimately feel good eating (see what I did there? ?).
I work with people who identify as chronic dieters, people with disordered eating and people with clinical eating disorders.
In Charge Eating was developed out of desperation at the shortage of health professionals available to support people in a 1:1 capacity and my desire to help more people have a better relationship with food so that they can get on with living richer and more fulfilling lives.
Nothing else has worked, so why should this?
Often what women have tried before has been a product of diet culture and will have been making the problem worse rather than better. I’m wondering if that is the same for you too? In Charge Eating comes at the ‘problem’ from a totally different angle and seeks to empower you to understand what is going on ‘under the hood’, rather than slapping some meal plans and cute affirmations on like a bandaid.
I don’t have the time to dedicate to this.
Truthfully, change and feeling different doesn’t happen just by handing over your credit card details. You do need to be an active participant in the process.
But to make this easier, I have structured the program in such a way that you only have EXACTLY what you need – none of the fluff or filler content to make the program “look” more valuable. Lessons are no more than 15 minutes each (most are way shorter than that) and I step you through each of the tools to implement so that you can start feeling less awful sooner.
The time you put into implementing the tools is completely up to you.
I don’t believe things can be different for me.
That makes complete sense when you have done All. The. Things. I hear that you are tired and worn down and feel stuck. I believe things can be different for you because I have witnessed things being different for so many of my clients. If you are willing to take a bit of a leap of faith, I can hold the belief that things can be different for you, until you feel more ready to ?
Should I wait to lose weight first?
Will I lose weight after taking this program?
I have an eating disorder. Can I take In Charge Eating?
This program is not recommended if you have an active eating disorder that involves purging or compensatory behaviours.
What about if I have other medical conditions or nutrition concerns?
In Charge Eating and any bonus material and offerings are not designed to provide individual medical nutrition therapy.
Look, I’d love to, but it’s too much money right now.
Everyone’s financial position is very different and it is not for me to judge whether the investment in In Charge Eating is cheap, reasonable, affordable or not. What I suspect is that you have probably spent a lot, and I mean a LOT of money already trying to ‘fix’ this. Whether that was through diets, programs, meal plans, trainers, not to mention money spent on binge food.
This IS an investment, but it is one that is far less of a financial investment than working with me 1:1. And it is one that I believe will serve you well now and in the long term.
Oh, and I have made sure there is a payment plan available without adding exorbitant fees that penalise you for very sensibly wanting to manage your finances.
What's your refund policy?
Because of the digital nature of the course content, I don’t offer refunds.
In Charge Eating has been designed to equip you with the tools you need to rebuild your connection with yourself and your relationship with food, AND for that to ‘work’, it needs one important ingredient: YOU! You will get out of the program what you put into it – transforming your relationship with food just can’t happen by only watching the video lessons.
So, if you are thinking of signing up but still have something niggling at you, I welcome your questions – please get in touch so we can talk more!
I think I would be better off with 1:1 support instead.
It is a wonderful act of self-care to want to invest in 1:1 support. Here’s where you can check out my 1:1 services, however, I am currently not taking new clients.
Unfortunately, COVID has had such a profound impact on people’s mental health and their relationship to food that the demand for 1:1 services far exceeds the supply of clinicians available to support them. At the moment, many clinicians have long waitlists or have closed their books altogether to new clients.
In working with hundreds of people who want to feel in charge of their eating, I know that each and every one of them has their own unique experience of their relationship to food, eating and their body. But there are also many many common themes shared by them all. In Charge Eating addresses those common themes so that you can get respite from feeling chaotic around food NOW, so that when you can meet someone 1:1 (whether that is me or someone else – I’m not going to be presumptuous here!), you can get straight to all of that stuff that is unique to you, having already started to feel better about your relationship with food.
Got a question that hasn’t been answered here? Get in touch
Eat with ease, feel calm around food, have the confidence to nourish your body, and live a richer, more fulfilling life.
